Job Summary: BRAC seeks a skilled MEAL professional to contribute to the “Rain for Life” initiative, focusing on monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning related to climate change resilience in vulnerable communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project activities, verifying qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Support baseline surveys, including tool design, data quality assurance, analysis, and report preparation.
  • Assist in developing a detailed M&E framework and plan, including an MIS database.
  • Prepare periodic reports on climate outcomes and output indicators.
  • Conduct financial monitoring of project expenditures.
  • Prepare consolidated progress reports, identifying problems, bottlenecks, lessons learned, and recommendations.
  • Support the development of new project proposals, including logical frameworks and gender-sensitive indicators.
  • Act as the primary focal point for M&E and MIS queries.
  • Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Management, MBA, Development Studies, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3/4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in climate change adaptation.
  • Competent in IT (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).
  • Working knowledge of data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of climate change adaptation, resilience, social, gender, and environmental compliance.
  • Strong M&E, research, and reporting skills.
  • Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and develop networks.
  • Willingness to work with vulnerable communities.
